2019 Mini-Quilt Challenge: Scraps
The 2019 BMQG quilt challenge is here!
  • Use scraps to create a quilt that is not larger than 36" x 36". 
  • At least 50% of the piece must be made of pieces that are not larger than 3" x 3".
  • Use at least 15 different fabrics. 
  • Post your progress and finish pics to Instagram at #bmqgchallenge.
  • Bring your quilt to the June meeting.
We will have a scrap swap at the February meeting in case you need to supplement your scrap supply, or you are in need of something specific.

2018 BMQG Mini-Quilt Challenge: Half-Square Triangles
Our 2018 mini-quilt challenge will be to create a 30" x 30" (finished) quilt using half-square triangles. Click here for the HST tips and tricks shared at the January meeting.


2017 BMQG Mini-Quilt Challenge: Half-Square Triangles
Make a mini-quilt that is no more than 36" x 36" in size. Your quilt should be pieced in an improv manner. For those of you that tend to stick to patterns, consider this a fun challenge outside of you r norm. You may use any sort of colors. Quilts should be ready to hang in our April show.


2018 BMQG Mini-Quilt Challenge: Half-Square Triangles
Make a mini-quilt that is no more than 36" x 36" in size made entirely of solids. Quilts should be ready to hang in our show in April.
