May Meeting Recap

A HUGE thank you to the totally awesome gang at Gather Here for hosting our final Quilts for Boston sew-in!!!  We couldn't have done this without you.  

A few people snuck out without getting their photo taken but in total we had 9 finished tops which are now off to be quilted along with countless other quilts being bound labeled and made ready for delivery.  It's so exciting to see these quilts being completed!!!

We also exchanged our Sewing Room Swap gifts.  As usual, these amazingly creative women rose to the challenge:-)

• We will continue meeting this summer.  Meeting dates are June 21st, July 19th and August 16th.  Stay tuned to the blog and Facebook for locations and programming.
• The deadline for the MQG Michael Miller Challenge has been extended to July 25th.  Winners will be announced August 1st.
• We are updating our blog roll.  If your blog is not listed please send your info to alice@alidiza.com to be added.
• Pricing and Schedules for Quiltcon will be released June 1st.  MQG members will receive priority registration in June.  Non-member registration will open July 1st.
