May Meeting Recap

I know I always say this but we had another fabulous meeting this weekend!  A huge thank you to Rebecca & Noah for letting us use their awesome space... it was just so totally modern:-)

Thank you also to the incredibly talented Tina for sharing her tips on printing your own fabric with Spoonflower and sharing a few of her amazing designs.

Natalie shared some of the Quilts for Boston tops that have been assembled.  As of the meeting we have received an unbelievable 664 blocks from around the world.  Even more amazing, all of the packets of blocks she had to distribute were taken by guild members to assemble.  There's still time to send us your blocks.  Please send them by this Friday, May 24th.  Also, don't forget that  Quilter's Way will be hosting Quilts for Boston sew-ins Wednesday nights from 6-9.

We also collected more than 60 flags for To Boston with Love including a bunch from the Northampton MQG.  The flags will be on display at the Museum of Fine Art from May 23 - June 16th.  We hope to have a meet up at the MFA so watch our events tab for details.

Last but not least, Naomi has arranged a group discount on Built by Briick products.  We will be taking orders at the June meeting.  Due to scheduling conflicts, our June meeting will be held Saturday, June 22nd from 1-5 in Billerica.  We will be working on Quilts for Boston so join us as we try to reach our goal of 50 quilts.

  1. For those of us who missed the meeting, how can we get our flags to the right place?
